Andermatt is located at 1,500m and surrounded by 3,000m mountains and offers some of the best skiing in the Alps and is particularly well known for it’s off-piste and ski touring. At the moment, 45 km of slopes are open. Off-piste skiing and ski touring is possible from 2’000 m a. s. l. The Gemstock cable car is literally fifty paces away from the apartment and the Naeschen cable car is a ten-minute walk from the house through the picturesque Old Town.

The Ski School Office is located in the Tourist Office across from the railway station.
Daily from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Museums, Guided Tours and Sight Seeing
In Andermatt and in the Gotthard region there are several unique museums, guided tours and sights to see.
The Ursern Valley Museum, an insight into the culture and history of the Valley is right across the road from the apartment and the stagecoach ride goes right past the window.
The Andermatt region offers a wealth of activities during the summer. If you are looking for action against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery, this is the place for you. The village is used as a base for mountain and road biking (Furka, Oberalp, Susten, Gotthard, Grimsel passes), mountaineering, climbing, hiking, paragliding and golf.
